The LPYC kicked off the start of 2020 with their annual meeting.
Special guest for the meeting was Paul Lohr, a ex-LPYC member who literally sold and invested everything in building a 60 foot paddle wheel boat to start a business for river and lake boat cruises. The historic city of Natchitoches, LA welcomed this new venture and the end result was the Cane River Queen. So if you are ever over that way be sure to check it out. Members of the LPYC held their 2019 Annual Meeting at Emerald Bay. Along with the Mexican dinner, the club recapped the 2018 events and racing events. The 2019 calendar of events was presented. An amendment to the by-laws was passed allowing up to two interim directors to serve for a one year term to be able add input to the clubs direction without the commitment of a 3 year term.
The officers for 2019 are John Springer as Commodore, Chuck Brazell as Vice Commodore, John Springer as Treasurer, and Lynn Easley as Secretary.
