MONTHLY MEETING MINUTES

Present at meeting: Rick Walker, Dicksie Walker, Steve Lowe, Warren Lyon, Bob Pryor, John Owens, and Lynn Easley.

Call to Order by Rick Walker.

Present Minutes from last meeting

The minutes were presented and approved. Motion to accept by Steve Lowe, seconded by John Owens.

Financial Report:

Receipts:

Receipts so far for the year are $2,750.00, all for current year dues except $300.00 from 2012.

Disbursements:

Disbursements so far for the year are $1,238.96 and are comprised of:

1. $930.87 Social.

2. $251.09 Trophies.

3. $57.00 Post Office Box Rent.

General Comments:

The cash balance of $20,026.47 includes $14,087.50 in a capital reserve.

We have fourteen dues paying members in 2013.

Motion by John Owen to accept the financial report. Second by

Warren Lyon. Approved.

Old Business:

Emerald Bay Marina Updates

Negotiations with the estate of Emerald Bay Marina are currently at a stand still with dim prospects. Negotiations were close until one of the members of the estate wanted to raise the asking price. Still a few possibilities that may happen later.

New Business:

Social Events

Reviewed up coming social events. Combined social event and Coyote Sam' event on September 20^th. Food for the club members will be paid for by the club. Meet and Greet starts at 6:00 at Coyote Sam's.

Other events are a sailboat race on September 21, and October 5^th. Raftup on October 12, Coyote Sam's meet up on the 18^th. Sailboat race on October 19^th. In November a social event on the 9^th, Coyote Sam's meet up on the 15^th, and a raftup on the 16^th. The LPYC Christmas part is currently scheduled for December 14^th.
