New Business

Additional Race Course:

Steve Lowe suggested having a race course for one or more of the races on the lower portions of the lake to be more accessible to members located on the middle to lower sections of the lake as its over an hour travel time to Saline Bay. The Fall Turkey Race was suggested as an option.

May 17th Third Friday Social:

John Springer suggested Roma’s in Tyler as a option as we need to send out a notice of the event soon.

May 18th Saturday Series:

Lynn Easley will send out a notice for Saturday’s race, hopefully weather will cooperate for a change.

Other Events:

Also suggested for this summer was a luncheon similar to the last two years as a summer event.

It was noted that club paid for events tended to better attended, although John Springer noted that the Christmas Party expense would probably use up most of the surplus cash for the year.

June 1st is the first of the two Saturday Series races scheduled in June before breaking for summer.

Date and Time of April Meeting:

The June meeting was set for Saturday June 8th at 11:30. Location will be determined later.

Adjournment:
