MONTHLY MEETING MINUTES
Present at meeting: Rick Walker, Steve Lowe, John Springer, Rich Munson, Ben Hooks, Nat Hart, and Lynn Easley.
Call to order by Rick Walker.
Present Minutes from last meeting
The minutes were presented by Lynn Easley.

Financial Report
Receipts:
Receipts for 2021 through November 13th were $2,025.00, which are current year dues from twenty members and the sale of one bur-gee.
Disbursements:
Disbursements for 2021 through November 13th were $838.84 for operations and $481.35 for capital as follows:
Operations:
$400.00 Storage Locker.
$295.93 Social-Cheeseburger in Paradise and Hot Dogs dock party and Oktoberfest.
$100.00 Slip Rental.
$27.05 Grill Propane Regulator.
$11.74 Trophy Engraving.
$4.12 Copies.
Capital:
$136.08 Pontoon Boat Repairs.
$345.27 Hoist (Includes $18.09 for a lock).
For operations, we have a cash surplus of $1,307.08.
General Comments:
The cash balance as of November 13th, 2021 is $16,818.85. The cash balance at this time last year was $15,779.61 and at year end was $16,114.04.

Officer and Director Reports.
Rick Walker – Followed up with Ron McKay, he is not likely to rejoin this year due to duties with the restaurant.
Ben Hooks – Need to discuss annual fee’s on the club’s newest member.
Lynn Easley – Invited one sailing couple to the Turkey Race and Dock Party.
Nat Hart – Thanked club members Rich Munson and Les Bentley for helping secure the boats in the recent wind storm.
Old Business
Slip Waiting List:
David Kinsey.
One member will be moving away, may sell the boat, or take the boat with them which might open up a slip.
Updates on Possible Presentations or Events:
Rick Walker said that neither Ashley or him have been able to pin down a date for Ross Hayes to do a presentation as he is often out of town on his job.
Nat Hart knows two persons on his street that might be interested in doing a presentation. One works on boating racing engines, the other holds a water speed record for a woman on the water.
Ben Hooks will reach out to North Sails to see if they are interested in doing a presentation.
Christmas Dinner Discussion:
The Christmas Dinner is currently scheduled for Friday, December 10th at Eagle’s Bluff.
The club is planning to go with the plated selection as the buffet requires at least 20 attendees. The plated dinners come with three choices, each running about $28 per plate cost to the club. Choices are a chicken dish, fish dish, and filet mignon dish. Eagle’s Bluff will need to know the choices selected at least four days out.
New Business
Board Recommended Directors and Officers for 2022:
The annual meeting will be held at Emerald Bay, with the fajita buffet for the meal. This year there are three director positions open and the usual two interim positions.
The terms that are expiring are Rick Walker, Steve Lowe, Rich Munson. The current interim positions are currently filled by Ashley Tackett, and Nat Hart.
Non Emergency Votes that are not on the Agenda:
Steve Lowe suggested that the directors should only vote on items currently on the agenda. That would give everyone time to think things over from the time the agenda is published until the director’s meeting. If this is an emergency then action can be taken without the item being on the agenda. There was no disagreement.
Date and Time of Next Meeting:
The next monthly meeting is scheduled for Saturday December 4th at Smoke Monkey Restaurant (Previously Purple Pig) at noon.
