Upcoming Social Events:
The month of May features the Cheeseburger in Paradise cookout on the Lake Palestine Marina docks on May 27. June will have the normal Third Friday Social event , location to be announced later. It was agreed to push the C.D. Sharp sailing presentation back to later in the year before the fall regatta. Dana Adams asked for input on possible locations for the Fourth of July cookout. One possible location will be at the Lake Palestine Docks, but the July heat will be an issue. No other suitable locations were suggested. Dana Adams did invite the club to his yard for viewing the fireworks. The issue will be discussed in more detail at the next meeting.
The Regatta date in the fall is still to be decided. John Springer will find out the date for the Tyler Yacht Club fall regatta to avoid a conflict with that event.
